    A Preliminary Report on Test of New Fresh Soybean Varieties

    • In order to identify high yield, stable yield, adaptability, disease resistance and utilization value of new fresh soybean varieties in Tong'an District and then for further extension, fresh soybean varieties were selected for comparison test. The results showed that ‘Zhexian 11’, ‘Jiaoda 18’, ‘Quchundou No.1’, ‘Shoudou No.38’ and ‘Liaoxiandou No.4’ had characteristics of strong plant, high adverse-resistance, good economic characters and high yield and could be suitable to be planted in Tong'an District. ‘Zhexian 11’ had highest fresh yield of 989.8 kg per 667 m2, which was very significantly higher than the control, Zhexian 5 by 8.6%.
