Effects of Different Substrates on Transplanting Survival Rate of Tissue Culture Seedlings of Dendrobium officinale

    • In this paper, tissue culture seedlings of Dendrobium officinale were used as materials and acclimatized at four substrates including pine bark, coconut bran, chaff and humus soil. Effects of different substrates on transplanting survival rates were studied. The results showed that tissue culture seedling had high bud germination number and plant height when pine bark was used as substrate. Due to its large stock and low price of pine bark, it could be widely extended to use as substrate of tissue culture seedlings of Dendrobium officinale.
