Abstract
Larvae of Zeuzea coffeae Nietiner damages stems and branches of Symplocos tetragona. In order to control occurrence and spread of Zeuzea coffeae Nietiner effectively and reduce economic loss caused by insect damage, 1.8% Avermectin emulsifiable concentrate, 40% Chlorpyrifos emulsifiable concentrate and 15% abamectin·chlorifos emulsion in water were used to control Zeuzea coffeae Nietiner. The results showed that three chemicals had good persistence to control Zeuzea coffeae Nietiner. 1.8% Avermectin emulsifiable concentrate was a type of biological insecticide and could be used in safety, so it is an ideal biological pesticide and could be extended on a large scale in the production.
