    Placement Test of Shallow Oriented PVC Plates with Dioscorea Opposita Thunb Variety Qinfeng

    • Taking Qinfeng, a Dioscorea Opposita Thunb variety, as the experimental material, the effects of the placing slope of four shallow orientation PVC plates on tuber traits, tuber yield and economic benefits were studied. The results showed that the longitudinal diameter, transverse diameter and tuber weight per plant increased with the increasing of the placing slope of PVC plates, while the yield increased first and then decreased. The economic benefits of the different placing slopes of PVC plates were 20 degrees > 25 degrees > 15 degrees > 10 degrees (CK). Under the experimental conditions, the yield and economic benefits of the treatment with 20 degrees of the placing slope of PVC plates were the highest.
