Pathogen Identification of Root-knot Nematode on Okra

There were many species of root-knot nematodes. Identifying the pathogenic species of root-knot nematode disease on okra can provide information basis for the prevention and control of root-knot nematode disease on okra, and provid important theoretical basis for the selection of disease-resistant germplasms and disease-resistant breeding of root-knot nematode disease in the future.The females were isolated from the infected root tissues of okra and the pathogenic species of okra root-knot nematode disease were identified by morphology, isozyme and rDNA-ITS-PCR.The results showed that the root-knot nematodes which harmed okra were Meloidogyne incognita.
