Research Status on Biological Characteritics Host Insects and Larva Feeding of Ophiocordyceps Sinensis Berk. Sacc., Hepithelial Armoricanus Oberthlir

Ophiocordyceps sinensis Berk. Sacc. is a kind of rare traditional Chinese herbal medicine in our country. As the host insects of Ophiocordyceps sinensis Berk. Sacc., Hepithelial armoricanus Oberthlir is also received extensive attention. The species of the host insects of Ophiocordyceps sinensis Berk. Sacc. were introduced, as well as the biological characteristics of four stages including egg, larva, pupae and adult. Then, the research progress of artificial feeding of Hepithelial armoricanus Oberthlir were further summarized from three aspects including feeding conditions, feed types and feeding model. Finally, the existing deficiency and future direction of artificial feeding were analyzed, so as to provide reference for the artificial feeding of Hepithelial armoricanus Oberthlir.
