    Comparative Study on Sulforaphane Content in Germplasm Resources of Broccoli and Chinese Kale at Home and Abroad

    • The contents of sulforaphane in the germplasm resources of 32 broccolis and 12 Chinese kales at home and abroad were compared. The results showed that the contents of sulforaphane in the curds of SV1808BL, FQ2 and XL3, the germplasm resources of broccoli, respectively reached up to 812.68, 777.12 and 720.32 μg·g-1 DW, which was 3.22, 3.08 and 2.85 times higher than that in the promoted varieties. The contents of sulforaphane in the stems and leaves of Cuifen, Cutiao and Minixiao, the germplasm resources of Chinese kale, respectively reached up to 620.27, 596.26 and 592.84 μg·g-1 DW, which was 2.85, 2.74 and 2.72 times higher than that in the promoted varieties Xianggangzhonghua.
