Abstract
In order to explore the application effect of seed coating on peanut, by using Minhua No.6 as the test material, the effects of seed coating on the yield, growth and development of peanuts were studied in 3 test sites, namely Gangwei Town, Longjiao Township and Baishui Town of Longhai City. The results showed that:Compared with those treated without seed coating (CK), the emergence time of peanuts treated with seed coating was delayed by 2 days, and the emergence rate increased by 6.38-7.63 percentage points. The 100-pod weight, 1000-kernel weight, number of total branches, fruiting branch number, fruiting number per plant and full pod number per plant respectively increased by 3.55%-8.42%, 2.01%-4.42%, 0.69-1.40, 1.4-2.73 and 1.39-1.99. The rate of full pod and the yield of kernel respectively increased by 3.05-5.04 percentage points and 1.74-2.02 percentage points. The abilities of drought resistance and disease resistance of peanuts were enhanced, and the degree of leaf spot disease was not heavy. The pod yield and seed kernel yield of peanuts per 667 m2 respectively increased by 23.46%-28.49% and 23.27%-27.82%, with significant differences.
