Research Status of Maccullochella Peelii Peelii Disease: Based on Literature Analysis

    • In order to understand the research status of new varieties of Maccullochella peelii peelii disease in time and put forward suggestions to promote the development of new industries, the relevant literatures on Maccullochella peelii peelii disease in the Chinese and foreign journals from January 1, 1915 to December 31, 2020 were retrieved to extract and analyze the information such as the number of published papers, date, author, journal, unit, region and research content. The bibliometric analysis showed that there were 28 literatures related to Maccullochella peelii peelii disease from 1998 to 2020. The units with the top three number of published articles were respectively the Institute of Agricultural Quality Standards and Testing Technology Research of Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the University of Sydney and Deakin University. The journals with the top three number of articles published were Aquaculture, Fujian Journal of Agricultural Sciences and Chinese Journal of Preventive Veterinary Medicine. The scientific research team was more stable and the core group of authors was more stable. The parasitic diseases were the most commonly studied diseases in Maccullochella peelii peelii disease, accounting for 35.71% of the total literature. The second was the viral diseases, which accounted for 21.43% of the total literature. And the unclear etiology and diseases accounted for 3.57% of the total literature. China was at the forefront of international research on Maccullochella peelii peelii disease. Therefore, some suggestions were put forward based on the research results. First, the government policy guidance and enterprise practice exploration should be strengthened in combination with the actual industrial development. Second, the innovation research on the disease prevention and control technology should be carried out by giving play to the advantages of professional combination. Third, by paying attention to the construction of scientific research teams, the key problems should be jointly tackled to make breakthroughs in the efficient treatment techniques for the diseases.
