Abstract
There were abundant germplasm resources of Chinese cabbage, but the long breeding time and complex breeding process seriously affected the work progress. In order to speed up the breeding process of new varieties of Chinese cabbage, through the combination of the treatments such as low temperature vernalization of seeds and plants, artificial pollination at bud stage, seed-peeling and generation-adding processing, cultivation in the intelligent artificial climate chamber and field test evaluation, the germplasm resources of Chinese cabbage could be bred for 3-4 generations every year, and the breeding period could be shortened to 4-5 years. On the basis of the previous experiments, the technical regulations for the generation-adding separation of the germplasm resources of Chinese cabbage were summarized, which could provide reference for the variety breeding and resource identification and assessment of Chinese cabbage.
