National park construction is an important measure to maintain biodiversity and ecosystem stability, and promote the coordinated development of man and nature. Based on the relevant literature data of national parks from 2000 to 2021 collected in Web of Sience and CNKI databases, the CiteSpace visualization software was used to systematically analyze the number of publications in this field, the cooperation between authors and research institutions, and the change of research hotspots of national parks. The results showed that since 2000, the number of publications and authors in the field of national parks at home and abroad has been increasing, and the research institutions at home and abroad have been growing. The research hotspots at home and abroad have shifted from the protection and development of national parks to the win-win and sharing. In view of this, the prospect was carried out from the aspects of strengthening the communication between teams and the cross-domain cooperation, deepening the theoretical research on the legislation system, management system, management concept and management path, and improving the research on the coordination of ″man-land relationship″.
