    Effects of Five Microbial Preparations on the Growth Characteristics of Anthurium andraeanum Seedlings

    • In order to explore the effect of microbial preparations on the growth characteristics of Anthurium andraeanum seedlings, the two kinds of Anthurium andraeanum varieties, namely Hongban Binuo and Aliya Nahong were used as the experimental materials, and five different microbial preparations including S. albulus var. wuyiensis 1 000-fold, Pythium oligandrum 3 000-fold,Atailing 1 000-fold, Bacillus subtilis Bv17 200-fold and Trichoderma harzianum 100-fold were sprayed with different concentrations on the two kinds of Anthurium andraeanum seedlings, thus to study the effects of five different microbial preparations on the growth of the two kinds of Anthurium andraeanum seedlings. The results showed that the four microbial preparations of S. albulus var. wuyiensis 1 000-fold, Pythium oligandrum 3 000-fold, Atailing 1 000-fold and Bacillus subtilis Bv 17 200-fold had different degrees of promoting effects on the growth of two kinds of Anthurium andraeanum seedlings. The aboveground parts of the two kinds of Anthurium andraeanum treated with S. albulus var. wuyiensis 1 000-fold and Atailing 1 000-fold had prominent growth, while the underground parts of the two kinds of Anthurium andraeanum treated with Pythium oligandrum 3 000-fold grew best. However, the treatment with the microbial preparation of Trichoderma harzianum 100-fold had certain inhibitory effect on the vegetative growth of Hongban Binuo seedlings and Aliya Nahong seedlings. The comprehensive analysis of experimental results showed that S. albulus var. wuyiensis 1 000-fold, Pythium oligandrum 3 000-fold and Atailing 1 000-fold had the best effect on the growth of Anthurium andraeanum seedlings, among which the treatment of S. albulus var. wuyiensis 1 000-fold had the best effect on Hongban Binuo, and the treatment of Atailing 1 000-fold had the best effect on Aliya Nahong.
