Abstract
In order to explore the effects of different vine numbers on the yield and commodity of Yangmingshan yam during its cultivation, by taking Yangming yam as the research object, the physiological traits, yield and commodity of Yangmingshan yam under the treatment of leaving single vine, leaving double vines and leaving three vines were measured at the seedling stage. The number of tubers in Yangmingshan yam was the highest (being 23.67 roots·m-2) under the treatment of leaving three vines, but the commodity potato rate and the high-quality commodity potato rate of Yangmingshan yam were significantly lower than those under the treatment of leaving double vines and single vine, among which, the commodity potato rate and the high-quality commodity potato rate of yam under the treatment of leaving single vine were the highest, reaching 79.84% and 61.99%, respectively. When Yangmingshan yam was treated with leaving single vine, the single root tuber weight was up to 1.06 kg, and the tuber length was up to 43.63 cm, which was significantly higher than that treated with leaving double vines and three vines. The comprehensive various indexes showed that the yield of Yangmingshan yam was not significantly affected by the treatment of leaving single vine, and the commodity of its tuber was improved to a certain extent, which had high economic value.
