Adaptability Evaluation of 16 Varieties of Brassica Oleracea Introduced in Fuzhou Area

    • In order to screen out the varieties of Brassica oleracea suitable for the open field cultivation in autumn in Fuzhou area, 16 varieties of Brassica oleracea were introduced in the experiment, and their agronomic traits, botanical traits and yield were comprehensively evaluated. The results showed that Zhenpin 66, Xinxiakang and Jianhua were suitable for being planted in autumn in Fuzhou, and their yields were 28.82 %, 25.69 % and 24.31 % higher than that of Japanese Huaguan (CK), respectively. Among them, Zhenpin 66 showed the characteristics of upright plant type, strong girdling, smooth leaf surface, dark green leaf color, plate leaf type, medium green petiole color and high yield. Xinxiakang showed the characteristics of upright plant type, strong girdling, smooth leaf surface, medium green leaf color, plate leaf type, medium green petiole color and high yield. Jianhua showed the characteristics of semi-erect plant type, strong girdling, slight wrinkles on the leaf surface, medium green leaf color, plate leaf type, greenish-white petiole color and high yield. The comprehensive analysis showed that the comprehensive performance of Zhenpin 66 and Xinxiakang was more in line with the local consumers’ preference for the appearance of Brassica oleracea, which was suitable for being planted in Fuzhou area.
