Abstract
To study the anti-fatigue effect of Angelica polysaccharide on normal mice. The experimental mice were randomLy divided into high-dose, middle-dose, low-dose groups and blank control groups, and were treated with different doses of Angelica polysaccharide(750, 500, 250 mg·kg−1 )for 28 days, the control group was treated with normal saline of equal volume, the changes of body weight and contents of blood urea nitrogen, blood lactic acid, liver glycogen, muscle glycogen, brain glutamic acid and brain GABA were measured. ASP had no significant effect on body weight of mice(P> 0.05), APS could obviously prolong swimming exhaustion time of mice(P<0.05), Asp(250−750 mg·kg−1)could decrease the accumulation of blood lactic acid and urea nitrogen(P<0.01); Low-dose APS could significantly increase the level of glutamate and decrease the level of GABA in the brain of mice after 60 min of exhaustive exercise mg·kg-1, while middle and high-dose APS could significantly increase the level of glutamate and decrease the level of glutamate in the brain of mice after 60 min of exhaustive exercise(P<0.05), the Glu/GABA ratio increased with the increase of APS dose and 750 mg·kg−1 APS could significantly increase the glycogen reserve(P<0.05).Certain dosage of Angelica polysaccharidecan effectively reduce central and peripheral fatigue in mice.
