Abstract
To investigate the control effect of microbial agents on pepper continuous cropping obstacles, using pepper cultivar ‘Zaoxiu’ as experimental material, four treatments were set up: lime control(CK), and three biological agents, i.e., Lvheng 168(LH), Taifeng No.1(TF)and Yibingqing(YBQ). The effects of different biological agents on the survival rate, growth, yield, fruit quality of continuous cropping pepper were studied. The results showed that The survival rates of TF and YBQ treatments reached 92.73% and 89.29%, respectively, which were significantly higher than those of CK and LH. LH treatment had a survival rate of only 28.57%;Compared with CK, LH and TF treatments significantly increased plant height, plant width, stem diameter and chlorophyll content, with LH showing the strongest growth-promoting effect. TF treatment gave the highest yield(36 506.25 kg·hm−2), which was 24.5% higher than that of CK, and its soluble protein content(8.22 mg·g−2)was significantly higher than that of the other treatments. In summary, Taifeng No.1 performed well in promoting growth, ensuring survival, increasing yield and improving quality, and is the optimal biological agent for alleviating continuous cropping obstacle in pepper, therefore it is recommended for application in production.
