Abstract
To screen for high-quality and high-yield peanut varieties suitable for cultivation in the Quanzhou production area, this study conducted a variety comparison test on 8 new peanut varieties introduced. The results show that the output of Yueyou 211, Quanhua 33 and Yueyou 216 ranks the top three. Compared with the control variety Quanhua 551, they have increased by 15.35%, 14.90% and 13.77% respectively, showing a significant increase. In terms of quality, Quanhua 33 has the highest protein content, reaching 29.98%, meeting the national standard for high-protein peanuts. Osmanthus Red 6 has the highest oleic acid content, reaching 79.77%. Based on the comprehensive yield, agronomic traits and quality performance, it is initially recommended that Yueyou 211, Quanhua 33 and Yueyou 216 be used for small-scale demonstration trials in the Quanzhou area. Meanwhile, Quanhua 33 can be used as a high-protein breeding parent, and Guihua Hong 6 can be utilized as a high-oleic acid breeding pare.
