Trial performance and cultivation techniques of “Taifengyou 656”

New hybrid rice “Taifengyou 656” was bred by “Taifeng A” and “Fuhui 656”, and was planted for 3333 m² area in Gantang Town, Pingnan County for 2 years. It performed the traits of uniform plant population, higher height, big ear and more grains, good coloring in late stage and high yield. This paper summarized high yield cultivation techniques of “Taifengyou 656” including seed pretreatment, breeding strong seedlings and field management.
