    Comparison test of different pepper cultivars in winter and spring

    • In order to select the superior pepper cultivars suitable to be cultivated in winter and spring, four pepper cultivars were comparatively tested. The results showed that “N-1999”, “N-200”, and “Hongzhen 3” showed higher adaptability in Fujian. Comprehensively considering on the plant characters, yield and marketability, the comprehensive character of “N-199” was better than other cultivars, and could be further extended in Fujian Province as main pepper cultivar in winter and spring.
