Comparison test of different pepper cultivars in winter and spring

In order to select the superior pepper cultivars suitable to be cultivated in winter and spring, four pepper cultivars were comparatively tested. The results showed that “N-1999”, “N-200”, and “Hongzhen 3” showed higher adaptability in Fujian. Comprehensively considering on the plant characters, yield and marketability, the comprehensive character of “N-199” was better than other cultivars, and could be further extended in Fujian Province as main pepper cultivar in winter and spring.
