A preliminary study on comparative test of post-tobacco rice varieties

In our study, a comparative test of 13 hybrid rice varieties was conducted in 2013. Their characteristics were comprehensively investigated. The results showed that “Tianyouhuazhan”, “Guyou 527”, “Minfengyou 3301” and “Yongyou No.9” could be extended as dominant varieties of post-tobacco rice which are suitable to be planted in Shaowu City. “Guangliangyou 1128” could be cultivated in trial as candidate variety. “Y liangyou No.1” and “Y liangyou No.2” showed good quality and could be cultivated in light infectious areas of rice blast. “Zhufengyou 3446” was recommended in regions where tobacco cv. “Cuibi No.1” was cultivated.
