Abstract
“Rattan beam 01” and “Rattan beam 02” cultivars were introduced to eight ecological climate zones of Fujian in order to study the suitability and nutritive function components. The results showed that “'Rattan beam 01” planted in Fujian could get similar yield compared to control cultivar Vigna cylindrical “Qingfeng”, but with double growth time to control, and could safely overwinter in the area south of Fuzhou, but needed to re-sowing because of the weak ability of regeneration. With higher anthocyanin content, “Rattam beam 01” could be used as the material of biological medicine, and widely used in landscape owing to higher growth speed, long flowering stage and bright color. “Rattan beam 04” couldn't overwinter safely with long growth period, and the yield declined as the attitude increasing, resulting in low land use efficiency; its total sugar and soluble protein contents of “Rattan beam 04” were higher than the control, but its nutritive function components were equal or lower than control.
