Present situation and development countermeasure of sweet potato industry in Fujian Province

Present situation of sweet potato production and industry development in Fujian Province was overviewed, the current characteristics and the existing problems in sweet potato industrialization were pointed out, countermeasures including relying on progress of science and technology, increasing R & D investment, improving the service system of science and technology and cultivation of leading enterprises were proposed in order to ensure the sustainable development of sweet potato industry.
