Planting performance and high-yielding cultivation techniques of high-qualified hybrid rice “Zhongzheyou No.1” as post-tobacco rice

High qualified hybrid rice “Zhongzheyou No.1” was planted in Jiangle County, Fujian Province in 2012, showing good plant and leaf shape, good adaptability, high yield and high grain quality. It was extended in 980 hm² in 2013. Its yield was significantly higher than local rice combination “Liangyou 2163” and “Tianyouhuazhan”. Some measures should be taken including sowing and transplanting in time, sparse planting with broad rows, controlling seedling population at a specific number, formula fertilization, aerobic irrigation and comprehensive control of diseases, pests and weeds.
