Analysis on the restricting factors and cultivation techniques of flue-cured tobacco production in Northern Fujian

Restricting factors of flue-cured tobacco production in Northern Fujian, including climate, soil environment, labor resources and cost, and production technology were analyzed, and the technical practices including development of appropriate scale cultivation, seedling cultivation by improving temperature and fill-in light, soil improvement, high stem and deep planting, balanced fertilization were proposed. It provided the references for the sustainable development of tobacco production in northern Fujian.
