Cultivation tests on new state-level varieties of early Indica rice within late-maturing group (Sha County site) in rice production areas of Southern China in 2013

In this study, cultivation test on new varieties of early rice were carried out in Sha County where is a demonstration base of rice production areas in Southern China. The results showed that the yield of “Zaofengyou No.9” was highest and was higher than that of “Jinyou 402” as control by 12.14%. The yields of “Lingliangyou 22”, “Rongyou 286”, “Wen 814”, “Rongfengyou 107” and “H750S/HY22” were higher than that of “Jinyou 402” by 2.06%-7.04%.
