Cultivation techniques for inducing lateral branches of Ardisia mamillata

  • In our study, the top branches of the first and second generations in young seedlings of Ardisia mamillata were removed. Then, 150 mg/L 6-BA was sprayed on it for formation of a spherical and compact type after cultivation management. Thus, ornamental and commodity value could be increased. The cultivation management of Ardisia mamillata induced from lateral branches should be paid attention in ensuring enough radiation, scientific management of water and fertilizer and control of diseases and pests.
