Innovation and application of light-sensitive hybrid rice sterility line “Bo A”

This paper reviewed breeding progress in light-sensitive hybrid rice sterility line “Bo A”, its application and good performance in matching light-sensitive hybrid rice varieties. It also reviewed application of its restoring line “Bo B” in creating sterility line “Bo ⅡA”, “Bo ⅢA” and “Xi A” and proposed some ideas on in-depth research and use of “Bo A”.
