Survey on main pests and diseases of citrus in Gutian County

Harmful condition and main kinds of citrus pests and diseases in Gutian were investigated. The results show that the main diseases which harm to citrus belong to 9 species of 8 families, and the pests belong to 24 species of 20 families, among which, Canker and red spider showed more serious damaging degree, Capnodium citri, Dacus dorsalis(Hendel), Spodoptera litura, white fly, and aphid were with moderate damaging degree, others with low damaging degree. The damage condition of pests and diseases to citrus varied with citrus varieties, management levels, different areas and planting years, and occurring periods.
