Field control efficacy of 6 acaricides on red mite in Chinese yam

Efficacy trial of 6 acaricides on red mite in Chinese yam was conducted. The results showed that 4 acaricides, i.e. 300 times liquid of Lv ying 99% mineral oil, 2000 times liquid of 5% Nisolon EC, 4000 times liquid of 24% Manwei suspension agent and 2000 times liquid of 8% Zhongbao acaricidal cream, acted efficiently in red mite control of Chinese yam, the control effects were increased by 89.40%-91.84%, 87.41%-96.08% and 84.86%-90.07% respectively after treated for 3, 10 and 20 days, they could be used alternately in productive practice.
