Abstract
In order to screen and explore peanut germplasm resources resistant to scab disease, the disease-resisting capacity of 60 peanut varieties were identified by spraying method. The results showed that, among the introduced varieties from other provinces, 6 varieties were proved to be resistant, accounting for 14.29%; 14 varieties were moderately resistant, accounting for 33.33%; 18 varieties were moderately susceptible, accounting for 42.86%; 4 varieties were susceptible, accounting for 9.52%. 18 peanut varieties from Fujian province showed low resistance to scab, 2 of which were moderately susceptible, the rest were susceptible. The results of this study provided important references for the breeding of peanut varieties with resistance to scab. In recent years, peanut scab disease tend to be more serious, so it is necessary to chose the scab-resistant capacity as an important target in the peanut variety improvement.
