Planting density test of hybrid rice “Liangyou 616”

A test of hybrid rice “Liangyou 616” with 5 planting densities, i.e. 8000 hills, 10000 hills, 12000 hills, 14000 hills and 16000 hills per 667 m² was carried out, in order to probe its appropriate planting density. The results showed that the highest yield of “Liangyou 616” was obtained when planting density was 12000 hills per 667 m², to compare with that of 8000 hills per 667 m², the difference reached very significant level.
