Comparative test of conventional high quality rice varieties

In order to screen some conventional high yield and quality rice varieties which are suitable to be cultivated in Ninghua County, five conventional high quality rice varieties and five popular high quality hybrid rice varieties were comparatively tested with “Guyou929” as control. The results showed that the yields of 3 tested varieties, i.e. “Jinnongsimiao”, “Hemeizhan” and “Hefengzhan” had not significant difference to that of control. These varieties had good comprehensive characteristics and could be further on trial.
