Preliminary report on effect of applying oyster shell powder on peanut

A field test on applying oyster shell powder to peanut was carried out. The results showed that the treatments could decrease the sterile grain rate and raise the yield thus improving the economic benefit of peanut, among which, the treatment of applying NPK+pig manure+oyster shell powder had the highest yield of peanut, total biomass and the economic benefit, and increased by 22.6%, 26.7% and 9.3% respectively to compared with the single application of NPK.
