Status of available phosphorus content in cultivated soil of Quanzhou suburbs andits management countermeasures

Soil samples taken from cultivated land in Quanzhou suburbs were analyzed, the results showed that the variation range of available phosphorus was 0.7-550.0 mg/kg with the average 81.4 mg/kg , and the ratio of samples, in which the available phosphorus contents at abundant level in paddy soil and upland soil reached 69.2% and 97.0% respectively, generally, the cultivated soil in Quanzhou suburbs showed abundant level. Based on the analysis, some management countermeasures on phosphorus in cultivated soil were put forward.
