Current developing situation of agricultural seaweed and seaweed fertilizer

  • In this paper, the worldwide distribution of the common seaweed raw in current market, and the kinds, function and market situation of seaweed fertilizer were introduced with the focus on its three main functions, i.e., to improve soil fertility, photosynthesis and adverse-resistance of crops. In addition, the production technologies with physical, chemical and biological methods and their effects on the function of seaweed fertilizers were also summarized.
