High yield seed-producing techniques of new hybrid rice combination “H liangyou 991”after tobacco cropping season

Two-line hybrid rice “H liangyou 991” was bred by crossing hybridization between sterile line“HD9802S” and restorer line “R991”. Seed production of “H liangyou 991” as post-tobacco rice was carried out in Datian Town, Taining County for continuous three years, and showed the character of high and stable yield. This paper summarized the characteristics of parent plants of “H liangyou 991”, its high yield seed-producing techniques after tobacco cropping season.
