Performance in trial planting and cultivation techniques of “Guangliangyou 676”

“Guangliangyou 676” is a new variety of two line indica hybrid rice. Trials were conducted at Changqiao Town, Pingnan County in 2012 and 2013. The comprehensive planting performance of “Guangliangyou 676” was: high yield, big spike, much grains, developed root system, suitable plant type, good coloring in late phage, high grain quality and moderate mature period with averaged yield of 660.6 kg per 667 m². This paper summarized the performance in trial planting and main cultivation techniques of “Guangliangyou 676”.
