  • “Shenliangyou 5814” was extended and planted in various Towns of Yong’an City in 2011-2013, it showed high resistance, strong stem, good coloring at late stage, strong tillering capacity, high number of efficient panicles, high seed setting rate, big ear with more grains, high yield and good quality. Some cultivation measures should be taken including sowing in good time, culture of more tillers and strong seedlings, rational planting density, enough basic seedlings, reasonable fertilization, scientific water management and comprehensive control of diseases and pests.
