  • This paper summarized the characteristics, cultivar classification, nutrition value and usage, processing and market potential of cultivated taro varieties and discussed the characteristics, cultivation history and current cultivation status of Xiamao Red-Bud Taro. Moreover, the paper laid stress on strategies of industrial development of Xiamao Red-Bud Taro.
