Straw mulching experiment and high-yielding cultivation techniques of winter potato

Trial tests on straw mulching in winter potato were carried out. The results showed that compared with conventional cultivated condition, straw mulching could shorten the whole growth period by 8d and increase the plant height, stem diameter and basal branches number by 7.2%、16.5% and 43.2% respectively, and raised the yield by 47.0% and increase the economic benefit significantly. And cultivation technique of straw mulching on winter potato was also summarized in this paper.
